This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a school librarian, I positively impact all 550 students in our learning community. The library is a place where students come to learn, read, collaborate, research, and communicate. Unfortunately, our technology is old and obsolete, meaning I cannot update our devices. Our circulation desk is the main area in the library where students check in and out books and we need a new computer monitor and speaker. The new computer monitor will allow students to search for books and access library resources.
My goal is to have a strong school library program that has a positive impact on student achievement.
It is my job as a librarian to provide my students with the opportunities they deserve. The new computer monitor and speaker will empower my students with 21st century skills that are critical for their success. We thank you for your support!
