Help me give my students Chromebooks to support learning and get them ready for online standardized testing. It will also help support the math curriculum we are using.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach students from various socioeconomic status. They are sweet, energetic, and motivated to learn. My students are learning to have a growth mindset because they want to be successful and want to please their parents.
Students can succeed when they have the right tools.
My students are eager to learn; however, they need technology to support their learning goals. Most of my students enjoy technology. It's a great way to motivate students. My students want to succeed; they just need the right tools.
My Project
These Chromebooks will help my students access the curriculum they are expected to master, especially our math program. Students also need to be prepared for the standardized tests they will be taking online next year.
Technology helps students succeed.
We use a combination of My Math and Eureka Math. Zearn is an online program that is perfectly aligned with Eureka Math. The Eureka Math worksheets are not very visually interesting, but Zearn makes up for it. That is why I would like to have a set of Chromebooks in my classroom. I plan to also use it as a center. Thank you for supporting teachers and students. It really does take a village.
