Technology Help

Help me give my students have the opportunity to use technology when they don't have the fine motor skills to manipulate a mouse on the computer. This includes Apple TV, and an iPad with a protective case.

My Students

I have 8 students in my classroom and they are in an autism classroom. They require special instruction in all academic areas and in social interaction with peers. Most of my students have difficulty expressing their emotions, needs and wants, and interacting with their peers on a social level.

My students like to interact with their peers but lack the communication skills.

When my students want to interact with their peers they will take what they or they will just walk away.

My Project

Having the iPad in the classroom will help my students that lack the fine motor skills to manipulate a computer mouse. Having the iPad with help my students in taking district and state assessments. Having the iPad with also help my students with social interaction with their peers, by taking turns on games an learning to share with each other.

The Apple TV will help my students during morning meeting by having the music they love to hear every morning be projected on the board.

Apple TV will also help my students see real life lessons in science, math and reading being projected in the class.
