Technology for the Pursuit of Students' Cloud Computing Careers

I need a MAC computer to assist in my professional development, as I support my students in their pursuit of Cloud Computing certification.

My Project

I teach in a Title I school. Currently, I am teaching a hybrid course, Intro to Cloud Computing with Arizona State. Upon successful completion of the course with a top score, my students not only gain 3 college credits, but are offered an opportunity to become certified in Cloud Computing. After which, they can obtain employment in the field while attending college. Unfortunately, my students and I are repeatedly running into technology issues due to outdated equipment. Due to budgetary issues, it's hard to address many of the tech challenges that my students and I are facing. I have been given the opportunity to take the course as a student next semester with an eye towards anticipating and addressing any challenges so that when my students take the course afterwards, they have the best possible chance to pass the course with a 95% average or better. In order to tackle this course, I need the MAC computer as it's the recommended device and my district is not able to supply me with one. The goal of this project is to acquire the technology necessary to fully support my students in their pursuit of a career in the field of Cloud Computing..
