My Students
I have a classroom full of amazing students. I currently teach two classrooms of students with 25 in each. Both are filled with multi-level learners. My classroom is filled with students who love to learn, be engaged in the learning process, and consist of regular education, special needs, and English Language Learners. Our school is a Title I school with many students who come from low-income families.
Please give my students the chance to have individualized and differentiated instruction.
My students are some of the most wonderful individuals I have ever taught. Many days are spent with my students teaching me through their observations, experiences, and conversations we have in the classroom. There is never a dull day and I am consistently amazed by their insight!
My Project
If you were to walk into my classroom you would see a variety of students with varying learning styles, needs, and levels. More Chromebooks in our classroom could help me meet the needs of these diverse learners. The clipboards will be used daily in our classroom to help aid in students being able to work, learn, create, and study outside of their traditional desks.
My students would benefit from the Chromebooks because of the online resources that allow me to differentiate my lessons.
Programs such as Readworks.org, Readtheory.org, Commonlit, Epic, Quizizz, Kahoot, learning galaxy, and quizlet.com are great resources that allow students to be able to learn on a level that is appropriate to their learning style and needs. This technology would allow me to make sure that every student's needs are being met on a daily basis, all while allowing them to be engaged during the learning process.
