Help me give my students iPads so that they can have the technology needed to turn our classroom into a blended learning classroom and to be able to better personalize their education.
Kindergarten is such a big step in a child's life. It is exciting for both the parent and the child when they arrive on the first day of school. My students are eager to learn, and I am eager to teach them. I love to see the growth that comes in Kindergarten.
Kindergarten is the first school experience that a child has and I want them to gain a love for learning.
Technology has a big impact on today's world and on the way that we teach. Children grow up using technology and I want to be able to use that technology in a positive way for learning. I want my students to be engaged in their learning and to find joy in using the technology at hand to help them become life long learners.
My Project
Our school is shifting to a blended learning model and without access to technology, that is hard to do. Getting iPads and cases would help to get us closer to having enough for my students to be one to one. They will be able to use the iPads to help foster their learning and to help them be excited to learn.
Having iPads will make it possible for my students to work on activities at their own pace and level while I work with students one on one to give them more support.
There are so many apps available to us now to help create a more individualized learning plan for our students. I can't wait to see the difference it makes in my classroom.
