Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class was lucky enough to be given an Apple iPad two years ago. We began using the iPad for various activities. One example being the creation of book-themed movie trailers. While filming our movie trailers, we noticed that we spent too much time typing with the iPad's built-in touchpad. The class brainstormed that access to an Apple Magic Keyboard Folio would minimize the amount of time spent typing and place that time on actually creating their trailers. The inclusion of the Apple Pencil will also minimize mistakes made by the students using their fingers on the iPad screen.
My class doesn't always have access to the newest technology.
The addition of the iPad was greatly received. It has changed the way my students incorporate technology in their learning. The inclusion of the Magic Keyboard Folio and Pencil will strengthen the bridge between technology and learning.
