My students need 2 PDAs to help with communication, because some of the students that I work with are non-verbal and need the additional support to help them.

My Students
Have you ever struggled with something and did not know where to turn? With these new PDAs, students with Autism might be able to receive assistance with their communication skills by being able to have a communication tool to help them communicate with teachers and peers.
These students are students with Autism.
They attend a public school where they receive services. These students need additional support to help them in their every day lives as they prepare to transition from this school to other schools and into the work place. The students would benefit from this support by having an additional tool to help them communicate with people.
My Project
With having these PDAs, I will be able to work with students on how they can communicate with their peers and be able to use these valuable tools in the work place. We do not have any PDAs in our classroom and I would like to implement the use of PDAs to help the kids realize the importance of being able to communicate. The students need assistance with communication and with this device, they can use pictures and I can create picture items to help them.
Students will be able to use these devices to help communicate with their peers and staff.
Through the use of adding pictures and being able to show the students a schedule on their PDA, this can create more of a balanced day for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
