This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students will benefit from having an advanced computer in the classroom.
This computer will allow me to continue providing my students with access to digital resources and content that make learning more engaging and fun.
Students will have direct access to interactive digital learning activities. Small groups can work to complete organizers and visuals on the computer. They can also work to complete online simulations on AmplifyScience (a new phenomena-based curriculum that utilizes interactive digital tools to empower students to think, read, write, and argue like real scientists and engineers). The group will also be better able to display their work to the class using the Apple TV that I already have in the classroom.
