Technology for Our Library

My students need 2 mini iPads for their use in our school library. Students will use them for research, reading, and to become familiar with this type of technology.

My Students

In our school library students visit for checking out books, to do research, and to become familiar and utilize different types of resources to find answers to any question they may have. "The best teachers are those who show you where to look but don't tell you what to see" - Alexandra Trenfor

Our students live in a rural area, they have inquiring minds, and are very respectful and well behaved.

Most of our students come from middle to low class. Most don't have technology resources in their homes, therefore I find it necessary to provide them with as much technology as possible in our school. Currently we have no iPads in our library.

My Project

Students in our library will use these iPads for reading, research, and to become familiar with this type of technology. Currently we don't have any iPads, and many of them aren't familiar. I want to see them utilize the iPads to empower them for a brighter future. What they will learn is endless!

If this project is fulfilled, students in our library will have one more tool to help them in their educational journey.

This type of technology will assist in enabling these students to become better readers, promote research for their inquiring minds, and they will not get left behind because of not having this type of technology. The iPads will be a great asset to produce their dreams of tomorrow.
