This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My scholars are taught to ask questions and express themselves. They are full of creativity when they collaborate amongst each other. We are a 21st century learning school, we use technology in every activity that we do. Project-based learning is a big thing, as well. We do a lot of hands-on activities incorporating different subjects. My scholars are amazing learners when it comes to technology as it is important for them to be prepared to use and apply it in their future success.
My Project
Technology is a big and important thing for my students and I am requesting three Samsung Galaxy tablets. My students will use them to engage in creativity and research. Students have a variety of learning styles and technology targets all of those. When my scholars work together on a project-based learning project they have the opportunity to expand their learning by creating questions and getting the answers through the use of technology. This allows them to gain and retain knowledge about the topic. The more tablets we have in the classroom the easier it will be for all my scholars to gain appropriate time and access to technology.
