My Project
I am blessed to get to teach English Language Learners (ELLs), many of who are brand new to the country. The curriculum in NYC is very rigorous, and at times, that makes it difficult for our ELLs to access the information at the same rate as students who have been here for several years. Having an iPad accessible in my classroom would allow me to do so many things for my students!
With this iPad, my students will be able to access videos about the content they are learning as well as have native language support orally and visually through Google Translate as they play educational learning games, and so much more!
The TPT gift card would also allow me to purchase teacher made materials that are made specifically for newcomers to the country. So many of these children have been through so much already in their young lives, that I would love to help them learn with as many resources as I can provide for them.
