My students need laptops for their classroom. They need access to technology.

My Students

As a teacher at a Title I school, my students are mostly from low-income homes. Although I have not met my students for the upcoming school year, my students' in the past have always come to school eager to learn.

We serve 644 students pre-k through fifth grade and over half of them come from a low-income household.

They still come to school happy. They love to learn new things in new ways. They are proud of all they accomplish and love to show off their work.

My Project

In my classroom, we currently don't have any computers for student use. These two laptops will open my students up to many opportunities.

The laptops can be used for ELL to translate, look things up, and much more; as well as being used by all students for AR testing, virtual field trips, centers, and more.

The use of technology is a part of every day life now and students need access. Having two laptops in my classroom will add to our daily education. They will be used in many ways in all subject areas; they also serve as a great tool for ELL. We can also learn about other countries through virtual field trips which is educational for all students.
