This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach 11 gifted first graders. In 1st grade, you are 6 years old. At that age, they are full of energy. My students are at an age that they thrive to learn something new every single day. My students are thirsty for knowledge and love coming to school everyday.
It is my goal to create a positive, learning environment for all my students.
I want to add 4 lab tops to my classroom. They will be used for our technology when we are doing STEAM activities, during centers, and Reflex math.
My Project
By incorporating these Chromebooks in my classroom, my students are going to be able to do so much more. We will use them as part of our STEAM projects for the technology component. They will be able to complete their weekly computer programs like IReady and Reflex. They will also "play" interactive games that come with our Reading series that can be found in their student portal.
These Chromebooks will bring life into my classroom.
Students today are bored with the same old paper/pencil seat work. These Chromebooks will help make learning fun! They will be learning by playing interactive games.
