This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
After a year of teaching in a pandemic, I want my students to be able to make a comeback in the most effective way possible. I teach first grade gifted students this year. In 1st grade you are 6 years old and are full of energy. My students are at an age that they thrive to learn something new every single day.
These Chromebooks will bring life into my classroom.
Students today are bored with the same old paper/pencil seat work. These laptops will help make learning fun! They will be learning by completing their weekly iReady, Reflex, and by playing interactive games.
My Project
These ASUS laptops are going to take my students' learning to the next level. We will be using these laptops for weekly Reading assessments. Students will also use these laptops to complete their Math Topic assessments at the end of each chapter.
It is my goal to create a positive, learning environment for all my students.
My students are thirsty for knowledge and love coming to school everyday. My students will also be using these laptops in our STEAM activities, during centers, completing computer programs like iReady, and their weekly assessments.
