This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My second-grade students are always ready to take on fresh information and learn something new. Most of them are English Language Learners. My favorite part of having students new to the country is how willing they are to learn by always asking questions, wanting to know the world around them in a new language.
In my class, we are always ready to learn in a fun and innovative way while practicing skills in an environment that requires us to get our "creative juices" flowing.
My Project
In our classroom, we use a Promethean board daily for our Reading lessons. Unfortunately, the computer connected to this laptop is VERY slow. We need a device that works at lightning speed to keep our kids engaged and interacted in our lessons.
With a classroom functioning laptop connected to our Promethean board will be able to move from within different PowerPoints and websites while no longer losing instructional time.
