This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. It warms my heart to see them so excited to share what they are learning with each other and their families.

My students come from all different backgrounds and upbringings.

Every one of them is an integral addition to our classroom family. Truly, they are my inspiration!

My Project

Creating a classroom library that engages and inspires students is essential in every classroom. I have been collecting books from all over to provide a range of options when it comes to reading choices for my students.

It is so powerful when a student finds a story that interests them and engages them.

I see my students most engaged in reading during our independent reading time. My classroom is filled with characters that all have a range of interests. It is hard to keep up and provide them with an ample amount of books to read that fit their interests.

This is where your donation will affect my students. These 10 Tablets will introduce so many books into my classroom through online book databases that are specifically designed for students and their interests. I believe that the combination of this online selection with our physical classroom library will give my students a full view of the books available to them.
