My Students

I am an Inclusion teacher and teach a wonderful group of students from diverse backgrounds. Many of my students are English Language Learners and this Kindergarten year is their first experience in a school setting. Our school provides 100% free breakfast and lunch to our students.

My students are creative and eager to learn!

I teach in an inclusion classroom where a portion of our students are students with Individualized Education Plans. Kindergarten is the first time many of my students will be in a traditional school setting. While many students missed out on their first school experience due to COVID and hybrid learning, this year I hope to give my students the full and enriching educational experience that they all need and deserve.

My Project

Students are returning to the classroom from over 18 months of interrupted learning due to the COVID pandemic. During this time students were given chrome books to access online learning and our curriculum.

Students need technology in the classroom to better access and enrich our literacy and math curricula.

In our school, classroom teachers no longer have access to the technology to help support students. These Ipads will allow students of all different abilities have access to quality technological enrichment to better support their learning. In this new tech world, students need access to technology to become comfortable with the new style of learning and assessments that are given. Even at the Kindergarten level, students are expected to complete online assessments and be able to navigate technology with ease.
