My students come to school each day with inquiring minds.
The 21st century learner is growing up in a world that is rich in technology.
They are exposed to digital information at a very young age and look for quick answers to their questions. Classroom technology can be expensive so students often have to share a few devises, which limits the amount of learning they can explore on their own.
My Project
The supplies from this project will help make technology tools available to my students on a daily basis. The five Asus Chromebooks will allow students to access digital resources when needed, rather than having to share our classroom computer. They will be able to have immediate access to the web, which they can use find answers to anything they wonder about. Students will also be able to work collaboratively on learning projects in which technology is essential to keep up with their inquiring minds. They will be able to complete general assignments, extended learning projects, research, and find out what they need to know when something sparks their curiosity. The Belkin charging cart and surge protector will help keep the devices secure, charged, and ready for use whenever students need them.
This project will help bring extra technology into our classroom.
The Asus Chromebooks and charging cart will allow my students to explore and learn at a moments notice. Anything they want to learn, or are curious about, will be just a keystroke away. My students have inquisitive minds, and this project will allow them to nurture that curiosity and enrich their daily learning.
