Technology for Improved Special Education Services
Help me give my students more access to quick and thorough accommodations through technology that allows for mobile examples and projection, leaving the teacher to be more mobile and accessible for one-on-one and small group, special education services.

My Project
Access to technology that streamlines both the student and instructor experience allows for more focus on content, teaching, and learning within the geometry classroom. This classroom is inclusive, co-taught and serving students with both learning disabilities and/or lack of English language proficiency.
A classroom ipad will allow for several process improvements:
-teachers can project drawn examples and support notes while moving around the room providing individualized and small group support
-unthethers the instructors from having to physically be at the board or projector
-allows examples to be saved and shared quickly
-allows students to enage with interactive modeling without the need for individual devices
-allows for live updating of shared resources (PDF notes) and for multiple classes to collaborate physically on one document throughout the day
-allows for live translating and transcripting of spoken lecture for both special education and ELL populations
