My Project
With the addition of laptops for my classes, I will be able to fully incorporate dance research-based projects and literacy into my classes. The laptops will allow students to have access to various websites and search engines to deepen their understanding of dance and the arts. They will also helps students hone their research skills which can be translated to their other content areas.
Students at our high school are driven to succeed in our medical CTE programs while also expanding their horizons in the arts programs.
Students come in as freshmen with the goals of pursuing a career in nursing, optometry, dentistry, and pharmaceuticals. While the students have the primary focus of these CTE programs and careers in the medical field, they are also incredibly artistic with a drive and desire to deepen their understanding of dance and the arts, and how they can incorporate both into various careers.
