Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
An LCD projector bulb will rarely last an entire school year. Our classroom bulb burned out in the beginning of the school year. It is very important that we get the bulb for our projector due to the effectiveness of technology in the classroom.
The students in my class are all low income students (Title 1) that struggle to understand basic concepts due to love Reading levels.
Approximately 95% of my students are low sociol economic and need to be shown examples and pictures of the items we are discussing.
My Project
My students have to work harder just to learn basic concepts due to low Reading levels. An LCD projector gives them that edge so they can visualize and use prior knowledge to help them understand even trivial items with Common Core as well as Everyday Math.
This project is every important to my class because we can learn so much over the internet, hands on activities, read alongs , and united streaming.
This also gives my students the capacity to educate their fellow students on Peer Teacher Day.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
