This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a 5th grade teacher at a school in the Bronx. I have been teaching the 5th grade for 17 years and I love interacting with this age group. My students are very curious about websites and learning platforms. They also enjoy looking up information on the spot, based on what we are learning in class. Having an iPad in our classroom would be very convenient and important for my students. They would be able to use it freely and learn how to navigate through different websites. There is so much that they can do on an iPad to help become independent learners.
