My fourth and fifth-grade students attend a high performing school, which is located in a lower-socioeconomic area, and very proud of the National Blue Ribbon and California Distinguished School awards we've received. Our school is ethnically diverse with students speaking languages such as English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese, and Bengali.

My Project
Our class is requesting your help in obtaining an additional laptop for our classroom. This laptop will continue to support the students by allowing them to have access to our math programs to supplement their learning. The online math programs guides the students to solve problems through strategic thinking.
The additional laptop will also support our needs in developing reading, writing, and research skills.
The students will use this laptop to access reading support programs to read passages and respond to the quiz questions. The students need additional practice in typing their short response answers to such quizzes and will help prepare them for the state testing in the spring.
