Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Despite not always having the basic necessities, my students come to class every day with a "can do" attitude. They truly believe that they can and will be successful and I hope to be able to give them every opportunity to do so.
I teach at a Title 1 elementary school in Houston, Texas where 100% of my students get free breakfast, lunch and dinner.
My students may not have access to technology at home and with our society becoming more reliant on the newest technology, my kids need to be able to experience it in the classroom.
My Project
These tablets and Chromebook will help my students leaen how to use technology while learning STEM! My students do not have access to a computer at home and rarely at school. I believe that every student should be able to learn how to use a computer and these items will help me reach my goal. Tablets will be used with Science and Math Apps to gain mastery of essential learning objectives. My students will gain insight in seeing science in action with the use of this great technology. Please help me help my students thrive in school and prepare them for the future!
