This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As we know, technology is the way of the future. Therefore, as an educator it is important to incorporate it into our daily lessons.
Technology will give students access to a variety of programs and informational sources that will assist with small group differentiated instruction.
I will use the iPad to project teacher created Google slides, using the Apple TV to help make learning more enjoyable. Don’t get me wrong, I know the importance of “hands-on teaching” and its value. However, when you incorporate the two together, teaching comes to life for our students.
I will also use the iPad for anecdotal notes and observations of my students. This will allow me to create a multi-tiered system of support for personalized learning.
Because parent communication is vital in every student’s learning development, I will also use the requested technology to keep in contact with parents. Class Dojo is an app on the iPad that I can use to keep parents informed with their student’s progress.
I’m looking forward to learning other ways I can maximize the Apple TV and iPad to to be able to make learning fun!
