Our class is located in an inner city school. My students are from broken and single family homes. They have many hardships and need some extra motivation. Technology is a great motivator. Using an LCD projector will incorporate technology in to our everyday learning. This will motivate many of the students. Young students love colors, pictures, and movement. Using the LCD projector for PowerPoint, video clips, and the smart board will capture their attention and provide a backdrop for learning.
We have technology at our school. We have a Smart board. We have Internet access. We have a VERY OLD LCD projector. It is not possible to get replacement bulbs for the projector. Please help us get a new projector to help motivate my students. The new LCD projector will provide many learning activities for my first graders. We can watch educational video clips, we can use the interactive Smart board, we can use power points for teaching and even use a document camera so all can see.
The LCD projector will allow the students to participate with the Smart board, watch educational video clips and powerpoints to enhance learning. These students need all the advantages they can get. The old projector is a hit or miss situation. You never know when it is going to work.
You have the power and the ability to help many inner city students learn and grow with technology. HELP!!!
