Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are amazing first graders that love to learn. At school, they are supported and challenged to always take it a step further. There they thrive with instruction, encouragement, love, and JOY! School is where they enter eagerly to have their first meal of the day. My kiddos depend on the breakfast, lunch, and hot supper programs our school provides to fill their bellies. We are a Title I school with a 100% free lunch program. Despite the many challenges at this time, these kiddos are attempting to tend to their remote learning.
My kiddos and I would benefit from having adequate teaching and learning tools to help us thrive academically from home.
Leaving our school campus so abruptly, we didn't get a chance for farewells nor to equip ourselves with the tools we need to endure the end of the year. Help equip our class with adequate tools to fill this journey with academic growth. Please be part of our academic success team
My Project
Not only will a computer let me communicate with my students, but it will also help me transfer over my teaching experience to our new distance learning mode enhancing my ability to provide for my students. Adequate technology such as an Apple computer will allow me to use up-to-date features, tools, and apps!
Up-to-date technology will help me to create awesome lessons, videos, visuals, links, and more to engage my students.
During this pandemic, we are looking for creative ways to keep our students engaged through remote learning. Apple computers have cool features already installed to create powerpoints, slides, iMovies, and so much more. I would absolutely love to get my hands on up-to-date technology to start creating more engaging lessons from home.
