Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students care about the environment and the means to educate our community with our actions. Therefore, we are planting native plants in our school garden in order to spread the knowledge and love for our California natural ecosystem. We are requesting a printer/label creator to identify the native plants in the garden and share information of each one of them.
The native plants in our school garden need labels and photo-informational cards to place next them.
We believe that everyone, including visitors of our school will benefit from knowing our native flora well.
Additionally, our classroom will need a wireless writing pad to allow students to project individual answers to word problems during math discussion and science.
