Our school serves students in grades K-8 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment. Our goal is to prepare our students for success in high school and college. Our school has a very diverse population with 100% receiving free breakfast and lunch in a total population of about four hundred students.

In my PreK classroom at the moment we don't have a listening center at all.
This CD player and selection of read-along books will help us start a classroom listening center.
In PreK it is so important for my scholars to hear books being read to them every day. Now all the scholars in my classroom will get to select a book of their choice to listen to during literacy stations and during free choice time. It is so important to give young learners different opportunities to explore learning.
