My students need technology at their fingertips! With some Kindle Fires for them to use, they will be able to read more books, test their comprehension on those books, and practice individualized math skill.

My Students

My classroom theme is FROGS and there are frogs all around. 3rd grade is a remarkable growing year for students. They evolve so much over the year. My students are an even mix of boys and girls.

Fully Responsible, Organized, and Growing Students is just one way to describe my group of 3rd graders.

They begin the year with an independent mentality, responsible for only themselves; as the year progresses, they develop a community mentality where they learn to work together and evenly contribute to their group.

I like the students to openly engage with each other as they are learning. I encourage guided discussion throughout all aspects of learning.

The evolution that these 3rd graders go through is astonishing, and is surely a sight to behold.

My Project

My students will be able to take their education to the next level. With the Kindle Fires, they will be able to work on their individual successes! The students will be able to focus on their weaknesses as well as champion their strengths through fun and engaging activities, in a way that will naturally become independent learners.

The students will be able to build their confidence by having immediate feedback on the multiple tasks that they complete.

The students will be able to use the Kindle Fires to practice their spelling words, read stories, test on their stories, play engaging math games, and practice math facts; all at their own individual pace.
