My Students
Our class motto is, "If you can dream it you can do it." My students believe that they can learn and do anything they work hard for. Technology is a big part of achieving those dreams in this digital world.
I have a caring, helpful, silly group of kindergarteners and first graders.
They are always there to support and help each other. They love to learn! Our school is transitioning to a STEM school and I want my students to have the opportunity to use technology in all areas of their learning. It's a digital world, and using iPads in the classroom now will prepare them for a future filled with technology.
My Project
These iPads will be used for years with kindergarteners and first graders to reinforce skills in math, science, and reading. Students who are not able to read yet will be able to work on phonics skills or listen to stories. Math apps will reinforce our math skills, and science will come to life with the help of some amazing science apps that allow us to travel under the sea, or explore the Arctic. The students will experience their first digital publishing with writing apps.
My students will get the technology skills that are a necessary part of living in our digital world.
They will learn to use technology for more than just games, they will learn how to use it to learn. These iPads will encourage their technology growth, while reinforcing their academic skills.
