Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are energetic, inspirational and inquisitive who are from a low income, Title I New York City Public High School. They come from many different cultures. I need technology in the classroom for my Special Education students. Access to technology would allow my students to complete their class work assignments.
My Project
Technology will help my students conduct inquiry based research in our Science class. They will learn how to create Science experiments and test their hypothesis. Technology is a great resource which gives my students the opportunity to obtain material to investigate Science theories. Students will actively engage in online activities which will reinforce the lessons learned on a daily basis. Technology offers a wide array of opportunities to create a fun learning environment. Each day, students will be given a task. Technology assists in the learning process. Moreover, it allows the students to complete the task.
