Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Now that students are back in the classroom, it has become a challenge to keep them engaged for periods of time. With the help of the technology and tools in this project, I will have a better chance of engaging students and keeping their attention.
We have Chromebooks available in our classroom, but unfortunately, not enough working headphones.
The headsets in this project will help students not only during instruction in Google Classroom, but during testing as well. They may also be used for students that need a quieter environment. The voice amplifier will help the teacher attract the attention of the over 30 students in class at a time.
We have also implemented interactive notebooks to help with motivation and engagement. The scissors will assist students in getting the tasks for the interactive notebooks done in a timely manner.
