My Students

Technology motivates students and individualizes education. My students have highly benefitted from what I have available for them; but there is still a need because of normal wear, larger class sizes, and over use. I have had positive academic and behavioral outcomes using hands-on and computer projects.

There have been many studies that have shown the benefits to having technology available for all students in classrooms.

Today's students need more, expect more, and greatly benefit from choice and access to technology. Technology is a great motivator and engages my students to focus on their learning. Technology enhances their education because of the amount and quality of information available using technology, specifically Chrome books. The 21st Century learner is required to think outside the box and use technology to learn computer science, use math and reading applications, and complete problem based learning projects.

My Project

These Chrome books will allow my students have have an assigned Chromebook and a pair of headphones to help minimalize the spread of viruses. Currently, I have students that need to share Chrome books, so I have a rotation schedule for sharing with those who don't have assigned Chrome books. The science manipulatives will give my students a way to enjoy discovering and using science and problem solving skills.

Kids need supplies to create and enjoy collaborating together.

These activities motivate kids and an allow them to learn discovery and to also use what they learn. The car tracks and marbles runs are used learn about movement of energy and with the circuits help them learn about basic electric energy circuits.
