Help me give my students access to technology such as an iPad to use during our math class to see geometrical objects in the world around them.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
At our school in the Bronx, our students are full of curiosity, resilience, and untapped potential. This year, geometry is being taught again for the first time in several years, and with its return, we’ve identified a strong need for engaging, hands-on learning experiences that connect students to real-world math and help them prepare for success on the NYS Geometry Regents Exam.
To meet this need, we are hoping to create a technology station in our classroom with an iPad, Apple Pencil, and Apple HomePod.
This dedicated space will give students access to interactive tools that help them explore geometry visually, kinesthetically, and auditorily—making abstract concepts more accessible and Regents prep more meaningful.
With the iPad and Apple Pencil, students can use apps like GeoGebra and Measure to model shapes, transformations, and constructions with precision. This tactile experience helps reinforce key Regents standards and encourages students to explore math in ways that boost confidence and retention.
The Apple HomePod will provide high-quality audio support for voice-guided lessons, Regents review walkthroughs, and language support—benefiting auditory learners and multilingual students.
This station will serve as a powerful hub for Regents prep, critical thinking, and joyful exploration. With your support, we can relaunch geometry in a way that is innovative, equitable, and deeply rooted in student success.
My project goal includes supporting daily Regents Exam prep through interactive tools. I would like to boost student engagement and confidence in geometry. I can also provide hands-on access to apps like GeoGebra and Measure.
I can support multilingual learners and students with IEPs.
Lastly, it makes math real, relevant, and exciting for all students.
