Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a kindergarten class with 24 students, they are bright eyed and full of energy. My students are excited to come to school and learn new things everyday. Our school is located in the south side of Los Angeles, we are a title one school where all of our students qualify for free lunch. My students welcome all and every single donation that we receive, and we need each and everything we can get. My students need materials to stay engaged and have the right learning conditions to maximize engagement in the classroom.

My Project

My students are very young none the less, they are interested in technology and learn how to navigate technology devices rather quickly.

My students will learn how to upload pictures, add music and create slideshows on a macbook.

A macbook will empower my students to use their imagination and create wonderful works of art. Not only will they have the opportunity to be creative but they will also become experts in navigating a macbook. My students will also be able to present their projects to their friends and will be able to collaborate and exchange ideas. This will give them the opportunity to share their creativity and empower their peers as well.
