Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach in a dual language classroom. My students are enthusiastic learners who say they love school. They are special because they have the opportunity to learn in two languages. I try to provide them with a safe and welcoming environment. I want them to have the best learning experience possible.
My Project
Technology is a tool needed today to improve student academic performance. I am requesting eight tablets which will give students access to technology, which many students unfortunately lack.
Students have digital resources like educational apps but can not log in or use because they do not have a device.
With these tablets I will be providing them with the means necessary for them to be able to login and use the online apps and resources during our center time. Students will also use the tablets to take online assessments like all other students across the nation.
