This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are hard-working students whose families care a lot about their success. They come from low socio-economic backgrounds, with almost every student qualifying for free or reduced lunch. Over 90 percent are Hispanic, and many of them will be the first person in their family to graduate from college.
I want to give our students the resources they need to keep them learning.
Let us think of IB and STEM education as the means of developing our greatest abilities because in each of us there is a private hope and dream which, fulfilled, can be translated into benefit for everyone and greater strength for our nation.
My Project
This laptop in our classroom will update the technology we have. Also, when it's connected to my computer, we will be able to use the laptop to project PowerPoint presentations, graphic organizers, videos, photos, and much more to assist in academic subjects.
Students will be more engaged when interacting with technology using this laptop.
Please consider supporting this project. It wouldn't be possible without supporters like you!
Students will also be able to project their screens to the external display from their chrome books. It would be an awesome addition to the classroom.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
