Technology lifts student achievement and enhances engagement amongst students. Laptops in the classroom promote everyday skills such as technological proficiency and problem-solving.
Research has found that when schools provide students with laptops for use in the classroom, learning improves in a number of subjects, including science, math, and English language arts. Laptops can be a very efficient and helpful tool in the classroom. My students will be able to use this requested laptop to access information regarding their interests or topics being explored in the class, have e-books read aloud while they follow along, and even learn learn letters and sounds through interactive sites, and create designs to be implemented in the block and art centers.
