This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I love my students! My students are the reason why I love teaching. They walk into our classroom every single day with smiles on their faces. They are always eager to start the day. When I ask them, "Who is the best class?"; they reply, "We are!"
I have always let them know that I believe they are capable of doing anything they want.
Despite so many hardships, my students come to class every day and are eager to learn and do their best.
My Project
My students need a lot of supplies. Most of them being technology. I know ahead of time that I will be getting students with previous behavior issues, students with dyslexia and GT students. I want to give them the best that they deserve and keep them engaged to the max. They need the following:
1 Echo (2nd Generation) that will be used for MANY things including music, reminders, math games, spelling, and more.
Various Educational Insights Hot Dots about math to keep them engaged during centers.
Wholesale Earbuds Bulk Headphones to give to each student to use when on the computers.
Echo Buttons (2 Buttons Per Pack) to be used with the echo to play games during centers.
Educational Insights Multicolored AlphaMagnets and MathMagnets, 214 Pieces to make words during centers when practicing.
SadoTech Model C Wireless Doorbell to be used to get their attention and for rotating centers.
DinoFire Wireless Presenter Rechargeable Green Light Hyperlink Volume Control USB Presentation Powerpoint Clicker Remote Control to be used when giving presentations.
Fire HD 8 Tablet to be used for individual work or for centers.
Zspeed Active Stylus, Fine Point Precision Stylus for iPad iPhone Android Samsung Tablets to be used with our samsung tablet to learn cursive and writing.
This will mean a lot to us. I really want to motivate them after HARVEY. Last year we had a terrible school start because of the hurricane and we have managed to get up slowly.
