My Students
To reach students today we have to teach them in a way that is interesting and up to date with a modern method of learning, interactive technology. My goal this year is to integrate more technology into my instruction.
My students this year are coming into the second grade.
Even though they are young, they are eager 21st century learners that are looking for ways to enrich their learning. I believe that by integrating interactive games and activities into their daily routine, they will take off and find new methods of learning and sharing.
My Project
The students at my school are excited to learn and ready to dive into the modern way of learning. The Apple TV is sharing device that allows students to easily connect from an iPad and share presentations over the classroom projector. This will make it easier for students to collaborate and share their hard work with the rest of the class. The interactive math station will allow daily practice with Common Core math skills, both in stations and in groups. The interactive quiz game is a good way to promote friendly competition through the digital format.
The Apple TV and interactive games will not only engage students in learning, but will also encourage this learning through collaboration and sharing.
These materials will build their sense of confidence in their own abilities in a positive way while giving them the beginning skills needed in our growing technological world.
