Help me give my students these Lenovo Laptops to set up a technology center.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Hylton's classroom raised $644

My Students
My students are largely Haitian immigrants or first generation Americans. They come from low income homes with all of them eligible for free or reduced-price lunch. They are sometimes limited to a school, home routine with little or no opportunities to experience anything outside of those places.
My students have a strong desire to experience things that other children may take for granted, such as having a computer and internet, going to a theme park or even a movie.
They need to see that the world is more than what is between the walls of their home and the fences of their school.
My Project
The laptops are going to help me create a technology center that the students will be able to use during center time for math and reading. They will be able to work on the skills that they are deficient in on a personal level as opposed to having to do it in a large or small group setting. They will be able to put on headphones and focus on themselves. They love technology and the programs they will use do a good job of making learning interesting to keep their attention. I think these computers will help to push my students achievement to higher levels.
More than half of students from low‑income households
