Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
One of the biggest needs in our school is headphones. We are a one to one school in terms of having a Chromebook for every one student. Being a K-8 school means that many of our scholars are learning how to access this technology but also how to take care of this technology as well. One of the most important components besides the Chromebook itself are the headphones the students use.
It helps to not only increase engagement but also helps them to focus.
Headphones aren't a glamorous item but are so necessary for the 21st Century student. Our students are incredible with the work they can accomplish and what they do using the technology they have. In the past several years, we've had students create visual graphs, podcasts and other online projects.
Please help us to buy 30 more high quality headphones for our school so we can make sure that we have the tools necessary to help our students succeed!
