Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I currently teach in a high needs, low income school. I am the school's music teacher and we are on a big initiative this year to go tech savvy.
Unfortunately we do not have a way to easily transport our music from one classroom computer to another computer. In addition all of the music teachers in the district are looking to backup all of our music onto one drive so we can share it within the district since the district owns rights to all of the music we perform.
We are looking to get a large external hard drive so we can back up and save all of the music and program information from year to year and for years to come. We can also back up performances of our students. The possibilities are endless if we are able to get a TB storage drive.
You can make sure that we will all have access to our music files for years to come... no matter if a computer crashes or the cd breaks, we will have everything on an external drive :)
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
