My Students

I have a classroom full of amazing and inspiring first graders. They are all unique individuals with shining personalities. They want to learn, and prove that to me every day.

With that being said, all of my first graders want to learn, and they will, but not necessarily on the same day or in the same way.

I teach at a Title 1 school with a high mobility rate. I want to level the playing field for my future doctors, teachers, scientists, business owners, and artists.

My Project

I am asking for 4 Chromebooks. During our school day we have a 45 minute block for Response to Intervention. During this time the students will be able to access a paid subscription to enhance and supplement their learning.

My students will also be able to use the Chromebooks to practice their typing skills.

In the 21st Century our kids are expected to take important tests online. In a Title 1 school, some of their only chances to learn a keyboard are at school. Having 4 extra computers in my room at all times, will give more students access to these important skills.
