Tech Vehicles of the Future
Help me give my students a way to transport technology between all classrooms!
My STAR students are resilient and creative, but as a Title I, high-risk public school, 68% qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.
Our school is now in our third year as a Mindful STEAM school with a deep focus on whole-child wellness and technology as a key to their future success!
We need a few more tools to be able to support a 21st century mindset, however, the funds for these specific materials are lacking. These stars are eager to learn and try new things in our freshly minted maker studio and lab!
It is a requirement that students know how to create, problem solve and think critically, but sometimes are missing some of the essentials self-regulation tools to develop important coping strategies! Supporting our technology initiatives will enhance the learning of every student, from preschool to 5th grade, at my school!
These specialty items are to accompany much of the tech I already have in my STEAM Studio. I teach all kids from Preschool to 5th, but it's hard to get the tech out of my class and into other teacher's learning zones.
These tubs and chargers will be the key to unlocking mobile technology at our school!
The Tech Tub will help transport the 6 ipads that I already have to a variety of classrooms and get tech into the hands of more students.
The small clear tubs will each hold 6 Sphero Spark + Robots that I already have. Each tub, lid, and port charger will allow me to make 4 sets of Spheros Kits for teachers to check out from my classroom. These vehicles of transporting tech will get these STEAM ipads and Spheros into all 600 students' hands more quickly and efficiently!
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
