This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As technology is continuously evolving so are the demands and needs placed on our scholars. Now that our state is requiring all mandated testing be completed online using Chromebooks, it is essential that our students have consistent and reliable access to fully charged and functional devices. Currently, our school district has implemented a new policy stating that our scholars are not permitted to take home their Chromebooks. This poses a significant concern with having the Chromebooks fully charged and ready for use during instruction and testing sessions. Without the ability to charge overnight, constant disruptions will occur. This could have a negative impact on student performance in daily instruction and state testing. It can also cause anxiety in the children if they are not charged.

Tech tubs are the solution to this problem!

With the tech tubs we can safely secure the Chromebooks overnight and ensure they are fully charged. Scholars' anxiety level will decrease and we will see a positive impact on daily instruction resulting in successful testing.
