My Project
I teach an amazing group of 10 students with special needs, each with unique strengths, challenges, and learning styles. In our classroom, technology plays a huge role in helping my students access learning, communicate, and stay engaged.
We are requesting a pair of Apple AirPods and a replacement laptop charger that will support both teaching and learning every day.
The AirPods will be used by students during small group lessons to listen to speech models, social stories, and educational apps without classroom distractions. For my students who benefit from audio cues or who use assistive technology, this will help them focus and participate more fully.
I’ll also use the AirPods during virtual meetings, trainings, and when accessing resources while students are working independently—without disrupting their focus.
The laptop charger will ensure our main classroom device stays powered so we can continue using communication tools, visual schedules, and learning programs that are essential to our daily routine. A charged laptop means consistent access to the tools my students rely on to learn and express themselves.
