Help me give my students iPads to use during small group instruction to enhance engagement and allow for more interactive, differentiated learning while working closely with the teacher.
What I love most about my students is their curiosity, resilience, and the unique energy they bring into the classroom each day. They are eager to learn, ask thoughtful questions, and thrive when given opportunities to explore ideas in meaningful ways. Each student brings their own strengths and learning styles, and it’s a joy to witness their growth—not just academically, but also in confidence and independence.
Providing iPads for small group instruction would be a powerful way to support and personalize their learning.
With this technology, students can engage with interactive apps that reinforce skills through games, visual models, and self-paced activities. The iPads would allow for immediate feedback, targeted practice, and differentiated support, especially important in small group settings where every student may be working on a different concept or skill level.
Each iPad becomes more than just a device—it becomes a tool for equity, access, and engagement. Whether a student is practicing math fluency, the iPad offers dynamic and flexible resources to meet them where they are. It would also allow me to monitor progress in real time and make more informed instructional decisions. Most importantly, it helps create a learning environment where students feel empowered and excited to take charge of their learning journey.
